A beautiful day to match the beautiful scenery greeted our racers who made the 250 mile trip up North. MusselMan offers a flat, lake swim, rolling hills along the bike, and a two-loop run course that meanders from the lakefront, up a challenging hill, and through the town. This was the second year the team raced in Geneva, putting up some spectacular times even with a timing malfunction. Rob P. and Joe F. both broke the 5 hour mark; Nicole S., Jeremy O., and Jon S. all dropped PRs. And Jenny D. toughed through an injury to complete the Aquabike. Jim W. was last seen all smiles as he cheered on the other competitors. For some, this race was a triumph; for others, a delicate reminder of the difficulty of the half distance. But, for all, it was another opportunity to be one team, one heartbeat.
